wayne ‘the train’ hancock: take two

back from colorado, what an awesome trip! everything in that state is just epic. spent the week in a little old mining town called cripple creek. you might recognize it from the band’s legendary song ‘up on cripple creek’. if you don’t, don’t worry – apparently the locals have never heard of that song either, strangely enough. it’s good to be back home in little austin.

so back in action: i’ve finished my second version of the wayne hancock poster which involves the same super chief train with a desert scene this go round. i want to do another version of the train going up the coastline (so it will coincide with any tours wayne might do in a clever way), but i think we’ll probably end up going with this desert version as it relates most to the style and heritage of wayne’s music: juke joint swing. to see both posters side by side, go check out my flickr account.

here she is!
