first and foremost i’d like to wish barbarella video dance club a very happy 1 year anniversary. in such a short span of time, they have become a premiere place to see, be seen, enjoy a volume of music new and old, and get your dance on. they’ve also moved into the much-larger space next door for the ever-growing nightly crowd of revelers.
barbarella’s birthday bash, which takes place this sunday, will be the debut of their new shirts – designed by yours truly! it’s a revamp of jane fonda’s barbarella and you can see it’s pop art incarnation below:

i have to admit, i indulged in a little self-gifting this holiday season with an adorable new diana mini lomography camera. i can’t wait till it gets here! i’m already planning to take photos for leatherbag, mike and the moonpies and frank smith with it. so while my digital nikon is getting the lens repaired, i’ll only have my glorious little film cameras with me.
and as a result of the influx of cameras in my collection, i have made a new year’s resolution to post more personal photos on here so you lovely readers can get a glimpse into my hectic little world.

one last thing is the finalized tshirt design for dallas based pop band spookeasy. some of you may remember album artwork i did for them a few months ago. now they have a fun zorro-lion shirt to add to their merch.
good times.
