i think my new favourite artist is the la based eric yahnker. i’ve been drooling over all of the sardonic pop-culture references on his website.

Winston Smith Exhibit at Chaos in Tejas.

so i just discovered via the austin chronicle that the amazing illustrator known for his work with the dead kennedys, winston smith, will have an exhibit of his work at this year’s chaos in tejas festival at us art authority. smith’s cut-and-paste montage style is commonly associated with the punk rock scene. the dude created that bladed dead kennedys logo i’m sure half of you reading this have tatted somewhere on your body.
